Barb Royer

Professional Experience:
Barb was in the hospitality industry for many years, but her favorite position was held at Kiawah Island Golf Resort’s famous Ocean Course, which has hosted the Ryder Cup, the World Cup, the UBS Cup and PGA Professional National Championship. As manager of Ocean Course’s very busy restaurant, Barb handled all the details of daily food and catering management as well as the planning and preparation for the very special events that took place year-round.

Barb is also our resident animal lover. She single-handedly ran her own farm that was home to twelve boarded horses. Although she no longer has the farm, Barb continues to teach both children and adults how to ride, and hosts and plans equestrian events.

Professional Philosophy:
Barb’s philosophy is simple. “No” is not an option. Get the job done, do it right, on time and do it well. This philosophy is perfect for YES Concierge, LLC.

Personal Background:
Barb and her husband live in Lancaster, PA. Although their house is not filled with animals right now, while on the farm Barb had as many as six dogs, many cats, and, of course, the horses. A little know fact is Barb’s talent in the arts. Her original pen and inks and water colors have been sold at art shows throughout the East Coast.

Barb has degrees in both marketing and management which has led her to 16 years of combined experience in real estate, new home construction, contractor negotiations, advertising, as well as pool & spa sales and service. All the above plus twelve years of volunteer coaching for basketball demand superior organizational and people skills.

Professional Philosophy:
Barb believes that integrity, honesty and attention to detail are the foundation for any relationship, especially in the service industry. Her number one goal is to meet or exceed your expectations every time.

Personal Background:
Barb and her husband, Brian, live in New Holland with their two daughters, Erin and Emily. Her free time is usually spent with family and friends, as they are most important to her.

Nancy Smith

Professional Experience:
Nancy worked for more than twenty five years in the hospitality industry, giving her many years of experience assisting people and meeting their needs. As a tour guide first and then as the Director of Member & Visitor Services for the Pennsylvania Dutch Convention & Visitors Bureau, Nancy Smith is well respected in the community for her expert knowledge of Lancaster County and her magnificent and easy way with people.

Professional Philosophy:
Meeting the needs of others has always been Nancy’s primary concern. She promises to continue following that goal with every client of YES Concierge, LLC.

Personal Background:
Nancy’s professional and personal philosophies are the same. She spent fifteen years at home raising her five children. The needs of her children and husband were always her first concern. “I can’t imagine how nice it would have been to have YES Concierge, LLC to offer help and relief when my children were young,”

Nancy Stewart (Managing Member)

Professional Experience
Nancy has more than twenty years experience in sales and marketing for a variety of industries, but her enthusiasm was in tourism marketing. As Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Pennsylvania Dutch Convention and Visitors Bureau and later for the Hershey Capital Region Visitors Bureau, she had the opportunity to not only promote tourism, but to work hand in hand with the more than 500 members of each organization. Excellent customer service was a must as each member expected to benefit from the organization’s resources and her experience.

Professional Philosophy
Superior customer service is the key to success in any business. Each customer must feel like they are your only concern. Nancy believes that if you combine excellent customer service with trust and respect you will have a mixture for success.

Personal Background
Besides managing her career, Nancy lives with her husband, Brian, in Maryland and is Mom to four of her own children and two step-daughters. Her busy life gives her complete understanding for those in the midst of “trying to manage it all” right now.
